How ranking works

Servers are ranked on two things players care about: how many people play there, and how many vote for it. Score = (votes in the last 30 days + 10 × typical players online) × uptime. So a big server ranks high even if it never asks for votes, and a small server with a loyal community can climb by voting. Voting never needs an account.

Every vote goes through fraud checks. Votes that fail still reach the server so you get your reward. They just don't move the server up the list.

Players

"Typical players" is the middle value of our own checks over the last 7 days, so short spikes don't count. Player counts that look hard-coded (the same number all week, always at max slots, or impossibly high) don't count until we've checked them. Faking player counts gets a server's players ignored for ranking.

Uptime

We ping every server every 5 minutes. 95% uptime or more keeps the full score. Below that the score drops, and under 50% it's zero. Servers offline for 3 days are hidden until they're back.

Botting

First time: votes reset to 0 for the month. Second time: removed from the list.

Sponsored servers

The sponsored rows at the top are paid and always marked with a star. Paying never changes a server's rank.
